Pondage Albums

In January we went away with friends for a holiday to the Pondage & I celebrated my birthday at the time, it was wonderful. Our children, our dogs & us Adults had a great time as you will see in the following pages, I have not added all pages though. Any questions about anything used on my LO's, please just ask & I will get back to you.

I love this picture of our kids in their wetsuits all ready to go in the water, so I had to use it as my opening page of the album.

After stopping for lunch, we continued our journey to the Pondage & our youngest daughter & dog Buddy had a nap in the backseat. The top photo was staged as Buddy had fallen asleep on Tyannes lap & she thought it was super cute, but the second on is her asleep for real.

Our arrival to the Pondage was very overcast & wet but still beautiful.

So inbetween showers we set up camp

On the morning of my birthday I was spoilt with lots of kisses & cuddles from our girls & my hubby & our wonderful friends had presents for me....

The irony of my presents were that 8 days before on my girlfriends birthday I had given her her presents, totally wrapped around with sticky tape & little posty notes inbetween each layers of paper. Some of the notes were things like I love sticky tape, keep on going, oh did I tell you I like sticky tape etc, just fun silly things & well karma would have it that my girlfriend thought pay back was such a wonderful thing & did the same to my presents lol hence the knife in my hand, there was no way I was ever getting thru that tape without it hahahaha So there are little speech bubbles & one says "pay backs a b!tch.." & "you're a beeep Caz..."

but the speech bubble with my present is "oh awesome" coz it was a scrapbook album with Winnie The Pooh on it.... naturally I had to use it for this album. The second present was a gorgeous jewellery box.

So we had had dinner & got the kids settled playing games, so it was our turn to relax with a drink & play cards when my friends surprised me with a birthday cake!! It was decorated with jellybeans yummmm My piece of cake did only start off with a small serve of cream until our friend got hold of the can & smothered it lol Its a joke between us that we hide the dessert under all the cream as a surprise

After everyone sang Happy Birthday to me, I cut the cake & of course the tradition in our house is to touch the bottom when cutting & kiss the closest boy or girl near you, my Hubby was the lucky one :)

Well eventhough it was still a little overcast we let the kids get suited up a swim, as it is always 26 degrees in the water. The rope swing was a favourite, but our dog Buddy wasn't so sure... he was the lifeguard letting the girls know when he wasn't happy with the situation.

So after warming up the boat & taking the girls out for a run, it was my Hubby's turn on the donut, it was such a lot of fun watching him & our girls thought it was great that Dad was out on the water.

Because we took so many photos I had to have a second album, so I took one of the photos I had duplicates of & made that the focal point of the album cover.

The kids had all had turns on the donut, now it was time to bring out the biskit, there were lots of laughs had by all when this came out :)

Here is our daughter waiting ever so patiently waiting for her turn on the donut... well when they took off all you could hear from the bank was her laughing haha she was giggling so loud that she didnt see the water marker & crashed straight into it, no tears or anything just more laughter!!

Then our little water baby had her first experience out on the water, she had never been on a donut or a biskit, let alone behind a boat, but she absolutely loved it!!! Once she had built her confidence on the donut she wanted to go on the biskit & going by the huge smile she has on her face, she was so excited. She new she was safe coz she had her lifejacket on, her spotting partner on the biskit with her & Dad in the boat, so all was good!!

AND so it was my turn.... hmm well our friend who was driving the boat had one ambition in mind & that was to throw me off the biskit: The speech bubble on my photo says "are we insured..." haha

I'm not a big fan of the water, as I dont like getting cold, but as it is so warm in there I was all for it!!

So we are ready to go... & holding on as hard as I could it wasn't long before Jay managed to throw me off, its hard to hang on & laugh so hard. As I would go flying off the biskit, I would say bye to my hubby & sing out "I believe I can fly..." haha It was soooo much fun!!

We took lots of photos of our dogs too... Buddy was still very protective of the kids playing in the water, he was on alert for the time our daughter was in the water; until she came out, once she gave him a pat & told him she was OK he would relax...

Lifeguard Buddy (or The Budster as we affectionately call him )relaxing at times the kids were not in the water. He is such a gorgeous dog, we love him to bits!!

One night we went to a free family entertainment night, Movies in the Park, we watched Night in the Museum 2, the kids got their faces painted, got lollies & icecreams

Slack slack slack!!!

Ok so this is really bad that my last post was August last year!!! & its the 1st of July so almost a year. Well in my defence it has been hectic in our household with moving & health issues but anyway I have still managed to get a lot of scrapping & cardmaking done, but just haven't uploaded anything, which is not good at all, very slack on my behalf!!

So I am going to take some photos of some of my latest creations & come back & share.

...it's been nearly 2 months since I have been on here.... WOW that time went by so quickly!!

But I have been in hospital & been busy with tests... I haven't been on here or the Cricut site or any of the challenge sights for so long, so hopefully I can get back into it all; now that I have my results & things are settling down.

My other venture has been pushed back too, I was to start card making & scrapbook classes this month, but hopefully next month...

Card Organiser

I've had a few days off making any cards, I banned myself from making anymore until I had sorted out the mess I had created in the large container, my hubby got me to put my cards in. I had just been slipping them in there as I had made them & looked the other day & thought OMGosh that's a mess!! I thought; if someone wanted a card or I needed one, I would have to go through them all to see what's what.... so I made these dividers, sorted the cards into the different sections & placed the MDF chipboard dividers inbetween & now it's much neater... & better still, I can see them all ...

This is my take on her sketch, I have had this KAISERscrapbook - beyond the page album for ages & decided I will add black & white pages to it & give it to my sister for their Black & White party she & my hubby are having together. I figure she can print out some photo's from the night & place them in here.

Joy Fold Card

I have made this card for my sister from our Mum, she wanted something pretty that would suit my sister turning 50. My husband & my sister are having a combined birthday & they have chosen the theme Black & White as Motown also turns 50 this year.

So I decided to try one of the Joy Fold Cards from Splitcoast stampers.

I combined 2 Cricut cuts for my butterfly- Tear Drop & Happily Ever After.

Firstly I cut a 1" butterfly from Tear Drop

Then I cut 2 of the Icon + Shift on page 49, stick them to the first butterfly & there you have it, a new butterfly that looks really cool. I'm sure someone else has thought of this already but I discovered it today tossing up between the 2 when, I placed one piece down & it was on the other & I thought wow I like that!!

So this was the end result!!

Something was nagging me about the finished card, but I couldn't put my finger on it, so I left it while I cooked dinner & then all of a sudden it came to me, I knew why I wasn't happy with it. I didn't have anything to keep the card closed, so I repositioned the butterfly & NOW I am happy with it!!!

Have a wonderful day - DCM

At DCM, the challenge was "Wet, wet, wet" : to have water on your card or to use a technique that used water, so I made the BG mat by inking the colours onto some acetate, spritzing it with water & placing the CS on top; lifting it & drying it off with my heat gun. I repeated this a few times for the desired look.

I wasn't really happy with the outcome until I placed some ribbon etc near it & then I realy liked the look of it. So I matted it onto hot pink CS, then onto a black card, stamped the image & matted it onto black CS & inked the edges with boysenberry ink. I layered the black ribbon onto the hot pink ribbon & layered the black flower onto the hot pink one & finished it off with a hot pink button & a black rhinestone. Once I stuck it altogether, I then put another black rhinestone in the corner of the image.

Overall I am very happy with the end result.

I had a square in my stash from a scalloped frame I cut the other day from Mini Monograms & this stamp fit perfectly in it. All DP is Stampin' Up! with lots of Umber 55 VersaColor ink, used my Martha Stewart Doily Punch & finished it off with some pearl halves.

I saw this Out of the box Nestie Tutorial & thought how good it looked... I dont have Nesties so I thought I would try it out with my Cricut.
So I stamped the image onto the CS, then traced the circle with a template, cut it out as directed, then cut a 4 inch framed circle with Mini Monograms & it worked... it doesn't have the embossing the Nesties gives it but I loved how it looked. I didn't want to colour the image in as I thought it looked great without, so thought well I could make different coloured ones. So I matched the Basic Black, Purely Pomegranate & Wasabi inks with Bazill CS, punched out the borders & stuck it all together. Very quick & easy but appealing I think.

Baby Cards

Ok so yesterday I was having a look around blog hopping & checking out the Cricut MB & I come across this "AWESOME" Baptisim Dress card by Lorrinda. She found the template on Deneen's blog, so naturally I had to have a look. I saved & printed the templates & had to have a play straight away.

When I remake the girls dress I will get better CS, I just used what I had in my stash at the time. I actually played with Stampin' Up! Stampin' pastels for the first time, I've always been wary of chalking as it always seemed messy, but then I thought if I used my Versamark with a cotton bud (Qtip) maybe it would hold it & then not be so messy... so I embossed the flowers onto the bottom of the card & did this process & I was amazed that it actually worked & that it looked pretty cool.

I would say that I will use this technique again. Then I added some ribbon, layered some flowers with a rhinestone & inked around the edges.

Then for the Boys overalls I used a double sided DP, cut out a label with George & cut it to size for the pocket & stuck on a blue duck button.

It kind of looked bare, so I cut a giraffe with New Arrivals in the same blue with a dark blue CS & gave him spots with a Sakura gel pen.

The twist for VLV May01 was to be inspired by something in your home to make a card with the sketch provided. This was made with the inspiration from our doona cover on our bed & also from the Think Pink theme at 365 cards for day 67.

My Dad's Birthday Card

This is a card I made for my Dad last night for his birthday (it's not until July... but I l;oved the sketch & I had the perfect quote/saying to suit)

At Caardvarks the challenge was to incorporate a quote or saying onto a card & I knew I wanted to use this one on Dad's birthday card, so I figured I make it early. Then I saw the sketch at CPS & knew that was the one I wanted to use for this card, it looked like a masculine sketch to me.

Hi Everyone!!
We have had computer problems since the 9th of this month, keeping us offline, but our Telco has finally fixed the problem so we are finally back online... It's amazing the amount of things I have missed out in 2 weeks, I will find it hard to catch up on things like daily cards from 365 cards etc but I will go & look at all the sketches & challenges & give it a go to catch up.

Scor-It Week at 365 cards

There are giveaways at 365 cards for scor-it week

I don't have a scor-it, I have a scor-pal which I guess in hindsight do the same thing, I love it!!!

Here are a few creations I have made using it

This card I used it to score around the edges & the stamp to make frames

It's a bit hard to see it, but I outlined the DP with it.

For this card, I used it make the diagonal patt on the CS.

Again I used it to make the diagonal patt also to section off some of the card for decorating.

Day 38- That's it I quilt!

Used this patt for the card, also Use it's recipe: Old scrapbook die cut, piece of old PP (at least 2 yrs), an old tool or technique & to use something you got recently on clearance. So the flower in the middle is the old die cut I have had forever haha, I think this is one of the first PP's I ever got, the old tool or technique was eyelets using eyelet punch & the clearance item was the Kaisercraft Basics Pearls.

Our girls made Easter hats & boxes

At school our girls (11 & 6yrs) had the annual Easter bonnet parade, so they came & asked could they "play" with my cricut (haha they have listened to me too much saying I'm going to play in my scraproom)to make their hats, so under close (haha) watch, I allowed them to "play" & this is what they made, my only input was hand cutting the shadow for them as they cut it on the largest setting, which doesn't have a shadow.

PTW - something edible

At PTW, the challenge was to create a card with something edible on it. I like the colours together, not normally my style, but they were sitting next to each other & I thought hmmm I don't mind that, so I grabbed some co-ordinating ribbon & buttons, added some KindyGlitz to the cake & candles, stamped Happy Birthday & it was done.

Over at 365 Cards, the challenge was to create a card inspired by the song Lean on Me by Bill Withers.

I used Okie's sketch from Jan 28th & used a white card, Stampin' Up! DP lace ribbon, Jasmine Cricut cart for the photo corners & George Cricut cart for the tag & the scrap from a previous circle I had cut with Mini Monograms. To finish it off I used some KindyGlitz, a flower, a green pearl & a tiny brown brad.

Happy Birthday Princess

This week the CAS challenge was inspirational from Robeez Footwear. I used the sketch from Okieladybugs Jan 21st.

When I saw this page I automatically thought of the carriage from Happily Ever After Cricut Cart. Next time I will have to remember to cut out the smaller parts first to determine which size I cut the image as the tiny pieces just don't always like to cut, so in the end I just used KindyGlitz to give it a bit of a sparkle. I used Stampin' Up! DP & Bazzill Basics & finished it off with a See D's stamp & some pearls.

Well this card actually covers 3 different challenges I was doing, firstly Okies second sketch from Mar 11, Day 17 from 365 Cards & Splitcoaststampers LSC211.

Okies sketch you can see above, 365 cards was Buttons & Bows - use 3 buttons & 3 bows, no more, no less & LSC211 was to make a card with a bug on it, using no more than 4 layers & no patterned paper.

So keeping in with Okies sketch, I then used red & black CS, cut a 3 1/2" ladybug from Doodlecharms Cricut Cart, layered some red & black ribbon, attached the bows & buttons, then stamped Happy Birthday on red CS, matting it onto black CS. Oh I stuck so googley eyes on the ladybug for a bit of fun. To finish it off I used black gel pen & dotted around the red border & over the top of the stamp so it stood out more.

I used Rosie's Studio PP for this card with a 3 1/2" Bazzill Basics Scallop circle, a 3 1/2" shadow circle in PP & a 3 1/2" circle cut with Mini Monograms Cricut Cart. I used a stamp from a Stampin'Up! set - For a friend, used a couple of blue & orange rhinestones to finish off. I thought the left hand side of the card looked bare, so I cut a couple of thin strips off the bazzill basics scraps & placed them there.

Cards for VLV March

Verve challenges for march are a lot of fun & nearly finished for the month, here are my takes on the challenges:

This was for sketch VLVMar01, the twist was a button, you could use 1 or 100.
The heart was cut with my Cricut - George cart & I hand cut the scallop edge by tracing around a tiny button

The VLVMaro2 sketch was a lot of fun with a twist using pink, red & green.
I kind of cringed thinking of using red & pink together but it came up up really good, I think it was the green that broke it up

The 3rd week challenge was fun with the twist being birthday. Again the scallop edge was hand cut after tracing a tiny button. Used a large paper flower as the focal point. The inspiration was from Amber herself :) Thanks Amber

The VLVMar04 challenge was a great sketch & this weeks twist was CAS & using only ONE embellie only.... woooh... this was hard for me as I love all the prety embellies, but I did it & I am very happy with the outcome. ALthought it said on the challenge to only use ONE embellie, I started off with just the embellie in flower above the 'i' in friend, then the post was updated saying you could use more than one of the same kind embellie, so I though "YAY", so I added 3 more under the stamp only they werer larger in size, but they are the exact same pearls. I cut the scallop circle, shadow circle & circle with Mini Monograms Cricut Cart, using tan CS & Stampin' UP! PP, the stamp is also from Stampin' UP!. Scored some lines down the side & added some KindyGlitz to the scallop circle to jazz it up a bit, but I think it is still CAS :)

I love this stamp from Stampin' Up! It reminds me of a tree on our Pop's land, which in turn reminds me of my Pop...hence the sentiment - Thinking of you

At SCS the CAS05 challenge was to use a hint of blue & green with a CAS card.
The tree stamp is from Stampin' up, I cut 3 balloons from the George cricut cart & trimmed off the ends, then finished them off with some green rhinestones. Layered a couple of flowers, attached a rhinestone & finished the card off with thinking of you.

I just used white CS with lavendar handmade paper for the bg, lace ribbon stuck on the sides of the PP, a tag which was a rectangle cut from George Cricut cart & I put a hole in the top for the ribbon, a purple flower on the tag & finished it off with a couple of purple mini brads & a Fiskars Thank you stamp.

I love this one, I think its all the flowers, they are soooo pretty!! I used a light grey CS with a Rebekka Erickson PP - Jason & another PP that I have lots of as I love it, but it doesnt have a company name on it, anyway I attached lace ribbon to it, stuck all the flowers on it & buttons, cut out the sqaure tag with Mini Monograms Cricut cart, used a rub on for Cherish & finished it off with a couple of pretty little hot pink pearls.

I made this card for our son's birthday coming up in a few days, his football team is yellow & green, hence the colour scheme I have chosen. I used Green CS with a kids grass PP, green corrugated CS, coloured the stamped image (that I received in a card swap) with watercoloured pencils & a water blender cut a H & a B from Mini Monograms Cricut Cart stamped the rest of the sentiment & finished it off with some yellow marble embellies & pierced holes around 2 sides of the card.

I saw this sketch & though of a baby card straight away, I have no idea why, but I went with it... firstly I turned the sketch on it's side & used White CS, Cuttlebug embossed BG, attached pink spotty PP, some flowers with KindyGlitz & cut the baby bottle from New Arrivals Cricut Cart. I finished it with a Deep pink pearl & stamped Just arrived.

My sister got this cute stamp set from Stampin' Up, so I had to have a play

I was so busy having fun playing with the stamps that I looked at it & thought there is something missing... then I realised I didn't have any cricut on it, so I puzzled for a minute & thought oh an X, thats what's missing ...der.... so I cut one from Mini Monograms. I used Bazzill Basics CS, I made the BG paper by stamping on the orange paper, placed each stamp on it's on mat, coloured them in with watercolour pencils & a water blender & stuck the X on to mark the spot.

Well this card actually covers 3 different challenges I was doing, firstly Okies second sketch from Mar 11, Day 17 from 365 Cards & Splitcoaststampers LSC211.

Okies sketch you can see above, 365 cards was Buttons & Bows - use 3 buttons & 3 bows, no more, no less & LSC211 was to make a card with a bug on it, using no more than 4 layers & no patterned paper.

So keeping in with Okies sketch, I then used red & black CS, cut a 3 1/2" ladybug from Doodlecharms Cricut Cart, layered some red & black ribbon, attached the bows & buttons, then stamped Happy Birthday on red CS, matting it onto black CS. Oh I stuck so googley eyes on the ladybug for a bit of fun. To finish it off I used black gel pen & dotted around the red border & over the top of the stamp so it stood out more.

I used Stampin' Up! PP on a white cs base, attached flowers & buttons, stamped It's your day & finished it off with some rhinestones

For this one I used a white card base with a black CS mat & stamped flourishes on a white CS mat placed some flowers with black flat rhinestones & layered a hot pink one with a black & white one ontop. Placed some hot pink lace ribbon across the bottom & stamped Congratulations on white CS then onto a black CS mat, finished it off with piercing around the edging. I love the black, white & hot pink combo, I think it looks very smart.

At SCS I stumbled across a CAS Challenge which means clean & simple, I got my idea from Susan's card it's very similar, I just altered mine slightly, thanks for the idea & inspiration Susan!!!

Hi Everyone... I'm back!!! Thaks for all the emails I received while we were moving, it's great to be back, I missed checking out all your blogs & all the challenges, so needless to say as soon as we got the internet back, I jumped on here straight away.

So here are a few cards I made over the last 2 nights in my new scraproom, which is actually a bungalow out the back, it is great & big too :)

The next 4 cards are for our Aussie card swap - Male Birthday Cards

I used the sketch from Christmas & Birthday Cards and the challenge from Saturday Challenge - Transport

I used a stamped image received in our swap, so I don't know the details sorry, a scalloped edged cirle punch, a circle with a silhouette circle from George cricut cartridge & 2 hearts also from George, ribbon from my stash & See D's birthday wishes stamp. I rubbed bronze ink over the image to give it the vintage look.

I really love this one, I used the sketch from CPS #105. PP is KaiserKraft teenage grunge, silver textured paper Stampin' Up image coloured with watercoloured pencils on blue woven PP & a See D's Happy Birthday stamp.

Just kind of made this up as I went along, had no real idea on how I wanted to do it but ended up using a Stampin' Up stamp, circled PP for the challenge at DCM & It's your day is cut from George cricut cart.

I used the Kazan's sketch for this one, but varied it slightly using a tag instead of a circle, also using the yellow & blue colour challenge from Arty Girlz. The image is another one from our swap, so have no info on it. The tag is cut from George cart.

These ones were just to add to my stash

This is a little card made with the sketch from Sketch this & the challenge from MTTC - Hats. Finished it off with some rhinestones & KindyGlitz.

This is a rather large card, made with the sketch from Mojo Monday #76 & the Hot Chocolate colour combo challenge from PWC - pink, orange & brown. Finished it off with some rhinestones & KindyGlitz.

A friend in England sent this WOJ stamped image to me, it is soooo cute, so I used it for the WOJ Lavendar & Lace challenge. I coloured it in the purples to cover the lavendar part & used lace down the side. The frame is cut from George cart, a coiled embellie & a coloured safety pin to hold on the sentiment stamp, finished it off with some KindyGlitz on the flowers.

Thanks for looking at my cards, well back to my scraproom to make some more, its amazing the withdrawals I had not making any cards haha

I love this Sarah Kay stamp, so I used it with the sketch from Magnolia Vs Stampaive Challenge

I stamped a floral border around the edge of the image in baby blue ink, stamped the flowers & swirls onto the CS with white ink, but it wasn't bright enough for me, so I went of it with a white gel pen, the Thank you stamp is from Fiskars Wedding clear stamp set. I cut out the butterflies twice, once with PP & then with vellum, with my cricut using the TD cartridge, added a few buttons to finish it off. I really love how it turned out, although I feel the scanned image does it justice.

I made this birthday card for a friend of ours who loves fishing, I used the sketch from CPS The stamp is Cape Arago Rubber Stamps but I don't know much more than that as I received it in a swap, I coloured it with watercolour pencils & added glossy accents to the water & the fish to give it that "wet" look. I used mulberry paper to give it some texture, as I find with most male cards, they lack something without all the "pretties" :)

This cute little WOJ stamp was too big for the scallop punch I wanted to use, so after tamping the image, I scanned it & resized it, coloured it in with watercolour pencils & added some KindyGlitz to the cake topping. Used Bazzill Basics, flowers, buttons & a rhinestone to finish off. Oh the Birthday Wishes is a See-D's stamp

Laura's #14 & Arty Girlz

Well Christmas is creeping up rapidly... our girls have got their end of year school plays coming up & school is about to end for the year, so they are getting rather excited about the holidays!! So am I actually, no having to get up so early to get them ready for school... yay for me haha... naturally the theme at the moment is Christmas so I've been having a play making some more cards for our family (whenever I get a spare chance...which is not often lately)

I made this cute little card using Laura's sketch #14 from 2sketches4you I love Laura & Kazan's work they are just great inspirations, if you haven't been to their site, take a look, you will love it. And at Arty Girlz, they asked us to use a frame on our work, so this fits for that too.

So for this card I used some scrap Bazzill Basics CS to make the card, PP I got free in a magazine, some holly ribbon, a cute little snowman framed embellie & a "Merry Christmas" metallic word. Oh & the scallops were cut from my cricut, I just cut a couple off the end, instead of using the whole row.

10 cards in one afternoon/night

We had a day off work yesterday & after we went & did what we had to do, we came home had lunch & then I decided to make some cards at about 2pm..... at 11pm I thought wow I think I have done enough today :)(mind you I did stop to pick up the kids from school, have playtime outside watching our 5yo daughter attempt to ride her bike with NO training wheels & have dinner too)

So here they are:

This one was with the challenge in mind from SU Ink - Whatyadoin'Wednesday, they wanted us to creat a scene by stamping, so here I placed Swinging Tilda on her bech seat & stamped a teddy from SeeD's & stuck it on the bench beside her & made a little wall hanging. It's a cute little girls card I think.

This cute stamp was sent to me from a friend & it is sooo cute, I just had to make a card with it, so its pretty basically done, just some Chrissy BG paper, mulberry paper mat, stick the image on (after colouring of course) place some lace on the edges, glitter up the star & add a rhinestone in the corner to finish

So at Theme Thursday they wanted a card that shows happy/happiness... so I used another Tilda this time on the bride deck dangling her feet in the water. I added some little blue sparkly stars (for starfish) a bright yellow flower & button in the corner (to represent the sun) & some white rikrak in the other corner (for some clouds) then used a word rub-on "FUN" (to represent the happiness).

This time Tilda is kicking back in her jeans, just sitting on the fence, added some pretty BG paper, some flowers, buttons, ribbon & rhinestones. Cute Card Thursday's challenge is to use fairies & angels, so I sparkled up Tilda's wings.

This was a bit of a fun/silly card, but I know a few people that would get a laugh out of it, at Caarvarks, they challenged us to use a chocolate theme, Arty Girlz wanted us to use a hand drawn element on our card & I loved the sketch from Funky Fairys, so I combined them to make this card.

Firstly I made the little bar of chocolate, I cut some little squares to give the portion look, placed them on some brown mulberry paper, wrapped it up in silver & brown paper, tore off the top to display the chocolate, wrapped some ribbon around it & placed it in the center of the card. For the hand drawn element I wrote Enjoy your day... Eat Chocolate!!

This last card I made for our niece that had her dance concert last weekend, which we couldn't attend, I coloured Ice ballet Tilda in in our nieces club colours - hot pink & black & themed the colours for the card around that too. Just put some pretty pink BG paper, tore some purple paper, placed some black ribbon & some pink rhinestones & sat Tilda on the ribbon.

Well thanks for looking at all my cards, it's funny how all those cards were made in that time frame but they look so quick to be able to put them together when you look at them once they are finished, but thinking about what to use & how to place it all is the time consuming part.

Aussie Pack Christmas Cards

All the stamps I received from our monthly swap, they are basic as they wanted the cost kept to a minimum as they are donated. I still think they turned out cute.... Baby's First Christmas

My girlfriend had her first baby earlier this year, so I made this card for her gorgeous little girl's first Christmas

The stamp is from Rachael Anne Miller, the backing mat was cut with my cricut & then I placed the stamped image where that was cut & recut it to fit, Baby's First Christmas is computer generated & finished it off with some ribbon, flowers & brads.

Baby it's cold outside

This is also for my sister (in Utah) & her family, I used Chilly Tilda for this one, Baby it's cold outside is computer generated & I put Kindy Glitz all over the snow to give it a glittery/shiny look. As they have a lot of snow at christmas I figured I make it a bit of a feature. (unlike us here in Australia, where it's Summer at Christmas & super hot)

Merry Christmas Tilda

A friend passed on some Magnolia Stamped images to me & this one of Waiting Tilda was so cute, I used it on this card for my Sister. As most of you know, last year I got to meet my oldest Sister for the very first time & we spend our first Christmas together, so that's why it has memories on it, it's kind of an anniversary/ Christmas card for her. She lives in Utah & gets a lot of snow at christmas so I thought this was appropriate for her.

This stamp is from The Cats Pajamas, don't know that I am really happy with this card, but anyway our girls love it, so I have no doubt that one of their friends will receive it.
