Christmas Tree- CPS & Weekend Taggers

While I was looking at my fav blogs, I came across a gorgeous card that Bety had made & I had to "lift" it... so thanks Bety for the inspiration :)

At the CPS site they wanted a shaped card made this week & Weekend Taggers wanted an untraditional tag, so I made a card & tag with this shape.

Thanks again Bety!!

a Happy birthday card & 5 large flower cards

Last night I was rumaging around in my scrap cupboard to find something & I came across these large flowers I had put there at some stage & had forgotten about, so I pulled them out to use once I had finished the card I was making.

Here is the card I was making to start with, just a basic birthday card, but kind of cute...

Then so I got to thinking what will I do with these flowers as they are really large & this is what I did... at Theme Thursday, the theme is flowers!!

got to go to work now, have a great weekend

BBTB contest

Over at the BBTB site they are having a contest based on a magazine picture, & this is what I came up with. As soon as I saw it, I thought about our holiday we had with my sister that I met for the very first time last year, earlier this year before she went home, we tooka holiday together & this image reminded me of that time, so this is going to her to remind her how much I loved our time together & how much I miss her!!

My Dad's birthday card

I made this card for my Dad for his birthday. I used Kazans sketch5 from 2sketches4you for this using black CS, double sided PP, metal letters & eyelets & I cut the two hearts with my cricut. The symbolisation between the two hearts is that my Dad isn't my biological father, but he is my Dad, he raised me since I was 10, hence the little heart & the bigger one is me now, with a bigger heart full of love he filled over my lifetime.

Thanks for dropping by

baby cards

These are the same cards, done in blue & pink. I used bazzill basics for the card, pink & blue PP's, lace borders, DeJavu Vellum quotes, flowers, floral buttons & twine and the butterfly is cut from Tear Drop Cricut Cartridge.

Have a great day

More cards for the kids

On a forum I'm on, a lady put out a request to make some 3x5 cards (or smaller) for a camp for abused & neglected kids that she volunteers at, Royal Family Kids'Camp & I thought it was an awesome idea, to put a smile on the kids faces & also the families & volunteers, so here is some I have made, they are 3x4.

The children are aged from 5-12yrs old, I hope they are suitable & that they like them

Thanks for looking & helpout if you have time!!
